Linkages to Wider Community

The project has established linkages with FARA, and other continental, regional research and extension and farmer organizations for widespread uptake of the technology. The Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA), the Association for Strengthening Agricultural Research in East and Central Africa (ASARECA) and the African Forum of Agricultural Advisory Services (AFAAS) are members of the project steering committee. The project is continuously engaging the organizations to establish the best pathways for validating, optimising and up-scaling the current Push-pull technology, and the adapted Push-pull once it has been validated. The project has also undertaken a mission to AFAAS in Kampala, Uganda to explore further opportunities for capacity development and up-scaling the Push-pull technology.
